Care
Ostrich is one of the softest and most durable exotic leathers. It's known for its distinctive quill pattern, and with regular care it only gets more supple over time.
Clean
Remove dust and dirt with a soft horsehair brush, using light, even strokes.
Brush gently around the quill bumps so dirt doesn't collect in them.
For dirt that won't brush off, wipe with a lightly dampened cloth, then let the boots air dry at room temperature.
Never use heat to speed up drying. Heat can stiffen the leather and cause cracking.
Condition
Every few months, depending on how often you wear them, apply a conditioner made for ostrich or exotic leather.
Ostrich has natural oils, so a little conditioner goes a long way. Use a small amount on a soft cloth and work it in with gentle circular motions.
Brush over the quill bumps afterward so no product is left sitting in them. Then buff to a soft sheen.
Test on a small, hidden area first, and avoid heavy oils, waxes, and household cleaners.

D, average width: Order your usual size.
EE, wide: Order your usual size in EE. It's wider, not longer.
Narrow feet: We recommend ordering a half size down.
How your boots should fit
Finding the right fit for your boots is essential for comfort and functionality. Here's a guide to ensure your boots fit just right:
Ease of Entry: Put the boot on and listen for a subtle "pop" as your foot slides into place.
General Fit: Boots should not be too loose or too tight on your foot. The ideal fit is snug (but not tight) around the entire foot.
Heel Lift Check: Confirm there is some heel lift, indicating a proper fit. However, it shouldn't be excessive.
Toe Room: There should be enough room to comfortably move your toes. Avoid a fit that squeezes your toes, which can cause discomfort over time.
Walking Comfort: Walk around to confirm overall comfort and fit. Pay attention to any pinching, rubbing or discomfort during movement. Be sure to do this on a soft surface to prevent scuffing the bottoms.

I was excited upon receiving my boots. I must tell you that I was a bit disappointed when I saw the boots' shaft. I could not tell if the boots' shaft was plastic or leather. They are comfortable, and I'm glad I ordered them in a half-size larger than my standard size. I decided to keep them only because the shaft of the boots will basically be covered by my jeans and I do like the look of the show part of the boots. You can do a better job on the shaft of these boots. The plastic look isn't a god look
